The Big Announcement

Hailie Deegan, the charismatic driver of the #13 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, is set to take on a new challenge. She's bidding farewell to the Craftsman Truck Series to race full-time in the Xfinity Series in 2024.

A Mixed Bag of Performances

Despite her popularity, Deegan's performance in the Truck Series has been a rollercoaster ride. As Mark Rushbrook, Ford Performance Motorsports’ Global Director, puts it, "She had a good season in ARCA when she started her relationship with us, but not the sustained performance, candidly, that we’d like to see."

A New Chapter in the Xfinity Series

The Xfinity Series could be a game-changer for Deegan. It's a stepping stone to NASCAR’s premier competition, the Cup Series. But as Kyle Busch, the Truck Series’ winningest driver, warns, “She might find a home in Xfinity because if you’re not good in Trucks, you won’t be good if you ever get to Cup.”
