After the race, he talked about racing his teammate Truex Jr. He said, “I thought that #19(Truex Jr) was a little better, the #1 (Chastain) obviously came on strong there at the end and so that’s all we have with our Fed Ex Toyota.” He further said, “It’s a day with no mistakes and we just gave ourselves a chance just didn’t have quite a fast enough car to go up for contention.”
