19-Year-Old Baby-Faced Michael Jordan's Photo With NASCAR Legend Richard Petty Goes Viral


Arguably the greatest NBA player of all time, Michael Jordan got involved with NASCAR back in 2020, when co-founded the 23XI Racing with Denny Hamlin. 

It seems like he was already a big fan of NASCAR during his college days when he was playing for the Tar Heels. Recently, his old photo with the legendary Richard Petty went viral. 

Jordan’s Connection with Charlotte

Notably, Jordan played 3 years in Charlotte for the Tar Heels. In 1982, his game-winning jump shot won them the NCAA Championship. Later, he became the principal owner of the NBA team, Charlotte Hornets. Safe to say, Jordan has plenty of connections with Charlotte.

Before the Coca-Cola 600 Cup Series race in Charlotte, the 23XI Racing team unveiled the Jordan-inspired paint scheme. Tyler Reddick will drive this car at the race.
