MJ’s marquee signing Bubba Wallace had another failure in Chicago, as he finished in 31st position. With 2 laps to go, Wallace lost control of his car and crashed into Ricky Stenhouse Jr., which caused the race to go into overtime. Although Wallace’s car did not sustain massive damage, he failed to finish higher.
Tyler Reddick’s terrible crash
Reddick had a tremendous qualifying session on Saturday, as he finished in second place. However, he could not maintain the balance of his car and lost plenty of position during the actual race. At one point, he was slated for a top 5 finish; unfortunately, he could not control his car at turn 6 and crashed into the tire wall.
After he crashed into the barrier, on the radio he could be heard saying, “We don’t need this transaxle ever again. I personally request that I get to destroy this sh**.”
