Gragson, once a shining star of Legacy Motor Club, found himself in hot water due to his social media missteps last year. Now, he's steering the #10 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. However, his first race didn't go as planned. He qualified 17th and finished 20th in the Clash at the Coliseum pre-season event.
Communication Breakdown
"Our first objective was to make the race. We did that, and then got a little mixed up as a team on communication and had some errors to start the race and went a couple of laps down," Gragson admitted. Despite the hiccups, he praised his team's efforts and the adjustments made to the car.
Looking Forward
Gragson didn't shy away from acknowledging the communication lapses and misinformation that plagued the team. But he remains hopeful, "We'll clean it up for Daytona," he said. As the team gears up for The Great American Race, they'll be working hard to rectify these issues and ensure a better performance.
