Motorsports and automobile companies have always had a hand in hand relationship. And recently through some speculations Toyota might dive into IndyCar, to explore new ways.

Latest reports suggest that Toyota could be planning to enter, (which technically will be their re-entery) in IndyCar in 2022. They will be the third OEM.
Roger Penske also recently spoke about getting a new OEM which will be added during the “late stages”.
Andy Graves who is the Toyota Racing Development Executive Engineer and Technical Director said “We always keep our fingers on the pulse of all motorsports garages and activity in North America. Obviously having Roger take over IndyCar was great and you’re going to see huge growth. Of course we have those discussions in other garages because we have a lot of friends in all forms of racing.”
