Hendrick Motorsports faced a harsh reality on Saturday night at Daytona when both Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman failed to break the alliance formed by the Ford drivers.

The Disappointing Result

The disappointment of not being able to witness all four cars for the championship seemed to be a cause of heartbreak for team boss Rick Hendrick. He expressed that momentum is important and that the most important thing is to see Alex and Chase both run well.

"The thing about it is you do not go win every year, you’re gonna be disappointed, but the best you can ask for is to be competitive and show up every week and people know that’s the car they gotta beat. And sometimes we fall behind and we don’t why.” said Mr.H

Elliott's Intentions


Despite being eliminated from the Playoffs, Chase Elliott gave his stance on his career’s upsetting move and whether he would be able to emerge as the champion in the next season. He expressed that it doesn’t define him and that all he can do is try to be better for it down the road.
