NASCAR

The Chicago race will be remembered for a long time, particularly for the Blockgate fiasco. Many pointed fingers at Kevin Harvick for causing that shambolic moment.

Bubba Wallace’s spotter Freddie Kraft was happy with NASCAR for not punishing Harvick. Now another spotter TJ Majors also expressed the same opinion, and fans agree with him.

Kevin Harvick’s #4 car hit the wall at turn 11 on lap 49, which caused huge chaos. Moreover, almost 14 cars got stuck in that traffic jam incident. Interestingly, Harvick retained his position, as many thought he was the main cause of that Blockgate incident.

Freddie Kraft slammed NASCAR

Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft spoke about the incident, saying, “I’m like, oh wow, we got our spot back essentially, and then I’m thinking I’m like, wait a minute, everybody got their spot back… I’m like, OK, but nobody gets penalized for being the one that blocked the track? Like I don’t understand… I don’t get the rules.”

In the latest episode of the ‘Door Bumper Clear’ podcast, Majors said, “There were actual cars that did stop and wreck, and the track wasn’t blocked until the four-car pulled up and blocked the track… If you’re the cause for the yellow, I think it’s an automatic no-brainer here that you go to the back, no matter what… ”

Fans want Harvick’s suspension

After Kraft and Majors’ statements, fans have also started rallying for Harvick’s punishment. One fan said, “I absolutely do not understand NASCAR’s thought process here.” Another user said, “The #4 saw cars going by, and he decided to block the track.” One more user wrote, “If you cause a wreck, you go to the end of the line. Why do you make NASCAR so difficult?”
