Kevin Durant's last season with the Nets has been much talked about, but it hasn't yet been confirmed by the team, which hasn't issued any statements. In addition to that, the Nets may also lose Kyrie Irving. In addition, Irving has exercised his player option for the 2022-23 season to return to the Nets for $36.5 million. The franchise wasn't in contact with Irving or Durant after Irving picked up his player option earlier this week, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Lakers cannot trade any more first-round picks until 2027 because of a previous trade and a rule prohibiting back-to-back first-round pick trades.

After he decided to take the player option, there has not been any news regarding which teams are interested in trading him away from the Nets.
