Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis Carrying the Game to OT, Dejounte Murray's Triple Double and Other Highlights From Lakers vs Spurs 

Despite being down 12 points in the fourth quarter, and five players missing from rotation including LeBron James, the Lakers were able to take this game into overtime against the Spurs and rallied to beat them 125-121. With James gone, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook were able to pick up the slack.

Russell Westbrook's lob to DeAndre Jordan

The game started off well for the Lakers who were leading by 3 points against the Spurs as the first quarter passed by. However, with 6 minutes left in the first, Westbrook's steal and lob to DeAndre Jordan which ended with a dunk was the WOW! moment.

Drew Eubanks steal

2 minutes left in the first quarter, the Lakers still had a 23-17 lead but the Spurs were catching up. This steal by Drew Eubanks from Anthony Davis led to an incredible bucket from the arc.

LeBron James takes on coaching

LeBron James did not play in this game because of a sore right ankle, but he was heavily involved in trying his hands as a coach from the bench. Looking at Bron guiding his teammates off the court was an amazing highlight in itself.

San Antonio Spurs excel at passing 

Well into the second quarter, the Lakers still managed to hold the lead. However, the Spurs were not letting the gap widen. It was 46-40 and the Spurs were excellent when it came to finding their way into the bucket with their passing.

McDermott's two-handed dunk

The second half had changed the face of the game, the Spurs were coming even closer to the Lakers score. And thanks to Doug's two-handed dunk with nine minutes to spare in the third, the Spurs had taken a one point lead.

Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook holding the fort

In LeBron's absence, Westbrook finally came through. After some disappointing performances before, this was a revival match for him. He and Davis continued to make buckets left and right, keeping the game as close as possible.

Lonnie Walker IV raining three's

In the third quarter with 3 minutes to go, Loonie took it upon himself to rain some three's from the arc. He did it when they were tied at 82 and once again when they were at 85 and finally took a considerable 82-88 lead against the Lakers.

Devin Vassell's vital steal

In the last one minute of the third quarter, Devin Vassell went all out for the Spurs. Not only did he shoot a three, moments later with less than 50 seconds left, he pulled off an impressive steal as the ball was on its way to Rajon Rondo and went for a smooth layup.

Dejounte Murray's triple double

The reason to panic was here. Lakers and Spurs were snatching leads one by one. Jakob Poeltl was the Spurs' lead scorer with his dunks, but Dejounte Murray had secured a triple-double as the fourth quarter was nearing its end. With 2 minutes left, the Spurs led by 112-109.

Anthony Davis injury scare

During the final minutes of regulation against the Spurs, AD was seen writhing in pain on the floor when he was trying to position himself for a rebound but instead landed awkwardly on his right leg.  However, fans breathed a sigh of relief as he return to play in OT and looked healthy.

Overtime: Westbrook and AD's dominance takes the win

The Lakers somehow managed to take the game into overtime which played out very well for them. AD and Westbrook as a duo worked out brilliantly as they led the purple and gold to their second victory of the regular season. It was game over at 125-121.
