Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and Other NBA Stars Who Have Dazzled at the Met Gala Over the Years

NBA stats are nothing less than celebrities and for them to be part of one of the best cultural events, is not a surprise. 

In fact, several athletes graced the MET Gala this year as well but it's time to look at some NBA stars who experienced the glitz and glamour as well.

Dwyane Wade and Gabriella Union

In 2019, Wade and his wife Gabriella joined the MET Gala by sticking to the 'Camp: Notes on Fashion' Theme. The two of them looked like edgy royalty with matching ensembles and covered in diamonds and embellishments from head to toe. In fact, Gabriella's pair of leather gloves stole the show. They were also at MET gala 2015, with Gabriella part of the 2021 gala as well.


Carmelo Anthony and La La Anthony

Carmelo Anthony and his wife La La have walked the MET Gala red carpet many times. In 2015, Melo dressed up as the Monopoly man. In 2016, the dress code read tech white tie, and Melo abided by it beautifully. However, La La attended the 2017 Gala on her own.

This year's theme 'In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did complete justice to in his chic outfit.

Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook went all out in his look at this year's MET Gala. To much his tux, he dyed his hair turquoise and because the theme was American independence, he sported stars in his hair.


Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry

For the first time ever, Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry attended the MET gala and looked absolutely perfect together in their coordinated outfits. With Ayesha's beaded gown and Steph's stunning beaded suit, the two quickly made it to the list of best-dressed couples.
