It was a great performance by Love who scored three of his 28 points on a clutch shot in the 40th minute to win the game for the Tar Heels 81-77.

In the game, teams were scoring on and off, but in the second half North Carolina jumped ahead by six points after going on a 13-0 run against Duke.

At first, it seemed that things would work out well for them, but Duke responded with a 10-2 run of its own and the game was on.

There were a lot of offensive rebounding opportunities, as both teams made their fair share of second-chance points.

Among other things, Armando Bacot collected 21 rebounds, eight of which were offensive.

The Duke team was led by Trevor Keels, who scored 19 points off the bench

In the dying seconds of the game, Williams missed two free throws, and Love sank a three that will endure for a very long time.
