HOWEVER, WHILE F1 WILL CONTINUE BROADCASTING A VIDEO BEFORE THE RACE, AND BRANDING WILL REMAIN AT CIRCUITS, THE REGULAR CEREMONY AT A SET TIME HAS NOW BEEN DROPPED.

For 2 years now, F1 drivers took the knee in the pre-race build-up as a gesture towards diversity.
From the 2022 season, Formula 1 will stop the knee ceremony.
Formula 1 wants to focus on diversity and a shift from gesture, to action. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali believes that it's the first step toward it.
Drivers are free to kneel before the race if they'd like to. And, any other gesture they even feel like doing.
