Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson’s radar

After the retirement of QB Tom Brady, the Bucs offseason is now in full swing and many rumors have arisen as to who will become the successor to Brady at the QB position. A recent report from Jeremy Fowler of ESPN says that Deshaun Watson has begun evaluating potential trade destinations this offseason and the Buccaneers are one of the said teams.

Bucs Interest in Deshaun Watson

The interest could very well be mutual as it was reported earlier in the week by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that the Bucs were doing “extensive homework” on Watson and Seahawks QB Russell Wilson as potential options at the quarterback position.

What Watson's agent said on this

Now, Watson’s agent is pouring water on all of that, telling USA TODAY Sports’ Josina Anderson that Watson’s camp is solely focused on “clearing his name”

Will Deshaun Watson become a part of the Bucs

Well, currently these all are nothing but the talks, and even Watson's agent named it a rumor. But, the Bucs badly need the successor of Tom Brady, and surely Deshaun Watson would be the great option.
