Colby Covington made an appearance at the UFC 286 weigh-ins as the backup fighter for the main event between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. Covington also interacted with journalists backstage during the event and about Papi Steakhouse attack.

While interacting with the media, ‘Chaos’ answered a few questions about the issue. He expressed that a certain individual had allegedly set him up to get attacked. He was also asked about Bob Menery, formerly a member of the ‘Full Send Podcast’, for his alleged involvement in the assault case.
When asked about his relationship with Menery, Colby said, “Yeah, I don’t have a relationship with Bob Menery. The only reason that I had met him was through the Nelk Boys, through Kyle on those guys."
He further added, “I don’t know what to believe with that guy. I think he set me up with what happened. But you know I’ll let that work out the way it does.”
