UFC fans get to witness a lot of shocking moments in the heat of battle, and great comebacks are one of those things. From Anderson Silva's submission victory over Chael Sonnen to Charles Oliveira's second-round stoppage victory over Michael Chandler, here, we take a look at some of the best comebacks in the history of UFC.
For the first four rounds, Sonnen controlled the fight, both standing and down on the ground. However, in the fifth round, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert Silva caught Sonnen in an armbar and forced him to tap.
Chandler dominated Oliveira throughout the first round. After having a bad start, Oliveira turned the tide early in the second round as he dropped Chandler and became the new UFC lightweight Champion.
Klose landed a hard right that wobbled Dariush in the second round. It seemed like the fight was about to end. However, Dariush made a huge comeback by landing a hard left of his own and won the fight via TKO in the same round.
Carwin dominated Lesnar throughout the first round by landing several vicious punches. Lesnar then turned the tide of the fight by putting Carwin in an arm-triangle choke and winning the fight via submission in the second round.
Holm controlled the fight for the first four rounds. It was a total annihilation from Holm's part until Tate managed to put Holm to sleep with a rear-naked choke in the fifth round.
