Professional MMA Debut

Garbrandt fought against Charles Kessinger at Pinnacle FC: Pittsburgh Challenge Series 1 in his professional MMA debut. It only took 4:11 minutes for Garbrandt to win via TKO in the first round. 

UFC Debut

Garbrandt made his UFC debut against Marcus Brimage at UFC 182. He won his UFC debut via TKO in the third round.

6-Fight Win Streak

Including his UFC debut, Garbrandt went on a 6-fight win streak, which also includes his spectacular unanimous decision victory over Dominick Cruz.

Cody Garbrandt Becomes The UFC Bantamweight Champion

Garbrandt clashed against Dominick Cruz for the UFC Bantamweight Championship title. After knocking Cruz down two times and nearly finishing him in the fourth round, Garbrandt became the UFC Bantamweight Champion by winning the fight via unanimous decision.

Three-Fight Skid

After becoming the champion, Garbrandt lost his next three fights, twice against T.J. Dillashaw and once against Pedro Munhoz. Garbrandt's first loss against T.J. Dillashaw marked his first professional loss, where he also lost his championship title.
