Conor McGregor Wants Khamzat Chimaev vs Paulo Costa After UFC 294

Chechen star Khamzat Chimaev secured an incredible victory against the UFC legend Kamaru Usman. The fight took place in the co-main event of UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi. Dana White had earlier stated that he will a title shot in the middleweight division to the winner. But given Khamzat’s history of division changes, many questioned Dana White, including Conor McGregor.

McGregor wants Chimaev to fight Paula Costa

McGregor took to Twitter to suggest Chimaev facing Costa ahead of a title bout. He wrote, “Ya know what Chimaev may need to prove more for a 185lb title shot for me. He must beat a true 185er. Rebook Chimaev vs Costa.”

Paula endorses Conor

Paula, who couldn’t face Chimaev at UFC 294 due to elbow surgery, put his weight behind McGregor’s views.

He wrote on Instagram, “I’m with Conor, he didn’t fight a legit MW until now. Let him feed me! What do u think about?“
