Darren Till will clash in a middleweight bout against Derek Brunson at UFC Vegas 36 on September 4. 'The Gorilla' has been training tirelessly to emerge victorious in his first bout of 2021. Here is what Till's intense training and dieting routine look like.
Till trains five days a week, two sessions a day (morning and evening).
In his strength and conditioning sessions, 'The Gorilla' sometimes sprints at least 40-50 times, with rest intervals of 10-20 seconds to increase his stamina, and for strength, he will do bodyweight workouts or weight lifting.
Till's training routine mainly focuses on wrestling to improve his ground game. Meanwhile, he does a lot of pad work to improve his striking skills.
'The Gorilla' always has his sparring sessions with a partner who is bigger than him. He has even sparred with several heavyweight fighters, such as rising UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall.
Till does not like to have a strict diet. Thus, he moved to the middleweight division from the welterweight division. His favorite foods are steak and potatoes while enjoying it with a glass of Orange juice.
