'T-City' initiated a conversation with Cortez on her Instagram post, said - "F*** it ima shoot my shot," even though she trains with the same coach as his then-rival, 'The Korean Zombie.' The two were later seen on Ortega's Instagram Story.
Although it is not clear when the pair started dating, it is believed that Ortega and Cortez have been together for almost a year, as of September 2021.
