“Freedom” or “Legacy”? UFC President Dana White Put Forward a Tough Choice for Francis Ngannou

The contract dispute saga between the UFC and 'The Predator’  is still ongoing. Now with a year-end review, much has been disclosed about the contract and the coming up negotiations. What are they? Let's find out.

What?

The contract dispute issues between Francis Ngannou and the UFC are still going on with now-added reactions from the UFC president Dana White.

What is the Issue?

Ngannou feels that he has yet not received what he deserved even after beating the legend Stipe Miocic to secure the title. He has been very much vocal since January 2022 when it comes to his demands and flexibilities for a new contract.

What Did Dana White Say?

While speaking to Brett Okamoto during a recent sit down with ESPN for a year-end review of 2022, White shared his ground on the Ngannou contract situation.

Freedom or Legacy?

The UFC president expressed that Ngannou needs to be with the UFC for his legacy whereas 'The Predator' is more willing to have freedom even if that means losing millions. Ngannou said, “Whether you want freedom, whether you want money. You give up one to gain one."
