An American professional mixed martial artist, Jones is a former two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and has been suspended or has spent time out of the sport on multiple occasions.
Jones was considered the best fighter until an April 2015 arrest on felony hit-and-run charges. He was suspended and stripped of the UFC light heavyweight title but later returned in UFC 197 and defeated Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision.
Jones returned at UFC 200 but was not allowed to fight against Daniel Cormier after he was charged with an anti-doping violation.
Jones headlined UFC 214 card from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Jones earned a win by knockout but later he tested positive for a banned substance, so the result was overturned.
