Virzi is a stand-up comedian and a and host of "The Virzi Effect" podcast. He is also the co-host of the "Anything Better?" podcast with Bill Burr. He has performed at Madison Square Garden, The Chicago Theatre, Carnegie Hall and many other iconic venues.
Virzi became a fan of stand-up comedy at a very young age of 9 when he attended Eddie Murphy's show RAW in 1987.
Virzi went for a contest called 'The Hudson Valley's Funniest Man' in the year 2000. The show was for a popular radio station and had over 20 contestants. Even though Virzi made it through the first two rounds he was later dropped. However, this inspired him for his future participation and his career.
In 2015 he came up with his debut comedy album, “Paul Virzi: Night At The Stand,” which stood #1 on iTunes and reached #4 on Billboard’s Top 100. Virzi has appeared on numerous platforms like TruTV's 'Comedy Knockout,' and AXS TV's 'Gotham Comedy Live'.
Virzi's latest special, "Nocturnal Admissions" is now available on Netflix. It is a second hour-long special which includes his hilarious thoughts on the current world we live in and his family. It is directed by Pete Davidson and produced by a lineup of comedy greats including Bill Burr, with whom Virzi co-hosts the podcast Anything Better.
