A recent episode of Rogan's podcast featured the well-known professor of evolutionary biology and podcaster Bret Weinstein. The duo discussed various issues and mistakenly also talked about a “tweet” which was later found to be unauthentic. Due to this, his episode was taken down from Spotify.
Bret Weinstein who was invited to the podcast later took to Twitter to express that the episode will be taken down temporarily to prevent the spread of any misinformation.
The 'JRE' podcast is one of the top trending podcasts and is followed by millions. Before the episode was taken down, multiple fans had already watched the episode and therefore reacted to the news. Fans had a mixed reaction to it, from calling it a “Great episode", questioning “How does this get labeled misinformation?" to fans tagging the Red Cross and saying, "scary for someone who may be allergic to ingredients within the shot", the show still managed to impress the audience.
