Recently, Macci opened up about the training of Venus Williams in the Functional Tennis Podcast.

“In an interview in 1992, let me tell me you right now, you can’t see it, I use it as a tool to teach, shorten her back swing, take the ball early, a bad volley is good, a good volley is great and a great volley is spectacular on grass.“

Seeing the dedication and hard work of the young Venus Williams, Macci made his prophecy.
