“I’ve been called man because I appeared outwardly strong … It has been said I don’t belong in women’s sports — that I belong in men’s — because I look stronger than many other women do. (No, I just work hard and I was born with this badass body and proud of it.),” She said.

Working out and having a chiseled physique is helpful for the athletes in their respective games. It is an option that is open to everyone and it’s sad that people use it as a way to disrespect a legend like Serena.

Williams will be back in action for the American hard court swing. She will feature in the National Bank Open to get the much-needed match practice. Later she will also feature in the Cincinnati Masters tournament before entering the US Open 2022.
