‘Dare Someone to Interrupt’ – Alexis Ohanian Takes an Indirect Dig at Margaret Court‘s Latest Allegations Against Serena Williams


Just one Grand Slam title separated Serena Williams from the former Australian tennis player, Margaret Court, who holds the record of 24 Grand Slam victories. But recently, Court questioned Williams’ legacy by claiming that the circumstances under which she had to play were more challenging than Williams. As a result, Alexis Ohanian, Serena’s husband, took an indirect swipe at Court on Twitter.

Ohanian has been very vocal on social media, particularly when it comes to defending his wife from negative criticism. This was again evident when Court levied her criticism on Serena.

Alexis Ohanian indirectly responded to Court’s criticism by comparing Williams and Court to the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. They are both great teams, but the only difference is that their legacies were built in two different eras, just like Williams and Court.
