Venus's bond with her mother Oracene

The ones who know the life history of Venus would rightly be aware of the close bond the Williams sisters had with their mother, Oracene Price. They must also be aware of the struggles that the Williams family underwent before reaching the level of stardom.

Price does not want to go out.

Starting with a brief about her mother, Venus said, “She (mother) doesn’t want to go to all these places. For example, we like to go out. She’s like, I don’t know why you guys like to go out. I’m like, it’s fun.”

When Venus Williams had an embarrassing moment at a nightclub.

“I couldn’t take her to a nightclub. Although one time we went in Moscow. It was so funny, we were out. We didn’t have any money. So, we couldn’t actually get home. We made some friends, went to eat in the middle of the night, and managed to get home.” Williams said.

Price has always accompanied Venus on-court.

While Oracene didn’t accompany Venus to the club again, that wasn’t the case in court. For years, Oracene was a permanent member of Venus’s player box during tournaments.
