Being an individual sport, the tennis fraternity seems like a close-knit family. This is something the tennis star Serena Williams agrees with too. With the loss of former British no. 1 Elena Baltacha in 2014, the tennis realm came together to mourn the loss of a colleague. Serena Williams talked about how her demise brought everyone together.

Back in 2014, Serena Williams was active on the court for almost two decades. She said, “Tennis is a family. I try to get along with everyone.” Furthermore, she said, “I don’t have beef with anyone. In fact, I actually miss people.”
