‘I Am That Petty.’ – Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Rips Into Haters for Doubting Him

Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, is trying to change the dimension of women in sports. And his investment in the Los Angeles Women’s soccer team is proof of what he believes in. However, recently, the Reddit co-founder still chose to give witty replies to his haters who thought the soccer team won’t make it. Almost two years back, the American businessman invested $100 million in a Los Angeles soccer team. Angel City FC has grown into one of the finest soccer competitors today.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian’s witty reply to his trollers.

Recently, Ohanian took to his YouTube channel to share the uncut version of his speech that he spoke when he received the 2022 Champion for equality. In this speech, he talked about how fans also encouraged him to invest in a women’s sport.

Back in 2019, when Ohanian was impressed by a soccer match, took to his Twitter to share his encouragement over the same.

He recalled the same and said, “Bunch of Die-Hard fans tweeted back and they said “talk is cheap” buy a team. I said okay all right, the universe is giving me a sign.”

Further, Ohanian explained what he does after collecting a tweet.

“I dig up one of those tweets and tag the SOB from three years earlier just to let him know. I am that petty and I live off of it. It fuels me.” According to Williams’ husband, he shares the old tweets again when he mentions any milestone achieved by the soccer team.

Investing turned out to be a family affair.

Ohanian is a lead investor in the Soccer team. However, not only that, but his wife Williams also made an investment in the same. Nevertheless, he didn’t stop there. Ohanian made an investment on behalf of his daughter,  Olympia Ohanian. Their daughter is the youngest investor in the pro sports world.
