‘Made Me Brain-Dead’ – Ice-Maiden Chris Evert’s Startling Confession Once About Smoking Mar**uana

Renowned American sports writer John Feinstein`s book, ”Hard Courts” about the men’s and women’s tennis tours once revealed how former tennis player Chris Evert experienced smoking marijuana one time. The advanced edition of Feinstein’s book also had information about how she convinced her parents to agree to her divorce from British player John Lloyd.

John Feinstein’s book revealed Chris Evert used to smoke marijuana.

Taking excerpts from Feinstein’s book, it could be understood that Evert decided against smoking marijuana after trying it on a few occasions. Evert was quoted as saying, “It’s illegal and it’s dangerous. When I smoked it, it made me brain-dead. I was out of it completely.”

Feinstein also wrote about Evert’s traumatic divorce from British athlete John Lloyd.

In the book, Evert talked about her divorce and how her parents were furious at the same idea.

How did Evert's parents react to the divorce?

“My father didn’t speak to me for months when John and I divorced,” she is quoted as saying in the book. “The whole thing was very tough on my whole family. Part of it was being Catholic, part of it was that they loved John,” Evert continued.

Evert joined good friend Martina Navratilova to share her views on Brittney Griner.

Navratilova and Evert recently voiced their concerns over WNBA star Brittney Griner’s arrest. Griner was arrested at the airport months ago on marijuana possession charges. They both took to Twitter to express their opinions.
