Venus and Serena Williams’ Father ‘King’ Richard’ Once Dropped a Bombshell by Giving Power of Attorney to His ‘Mystery’ Son

Venus Williams and Serena Williams’ rise to the top of the tennis world is deeply inspiring. The two sisters grew up in a humble background in Compton. During their childhood days, their father, Richard Williams, took them to the public tennis courts to train. They worked hard day in and day out to carve a successful career in tennis.  Despite the close bond with his daughters, Richard took a surprising decision a few years back.

Venus and Serena Williams’ father gave power of attorney to his son.

‘King Richard’ dropped a bombshell a few years back by giving the power of attorney to his ‘mystery’ son. Instead of giving it to Serena and Venus Williams, Richard handed it to Chavoita LeSane, a son he had from an unknown relationship.

Who is LeSane?

LeSane is the CEO of a music company called ‘ChaVam’ which is based in Florida. A few months back, Richard’s son had posted a picture with him on Instagram, saying, “Rocking the MoHawk.”

Richard was a constant presence in the stadium when Serena and Venus took the court.

He was the first coach of the Williams sisters before Rick Macci joined their team. Macci struck a healthy bond with the Williams family and together they achieved success all across the globe.

What did Ohanian’s family do in London?

After cheering for Williams in the Wimbledon Championships, the father-daughter duo took a day for playing some golf and then enjoyed British delicacies in the evening. They went for an English high tea and enjoyed a wide display of cookies and cakes, along with a cup of tea.
