When England started to bat, Jason Roy took the team to 70 runs within 38 balls. This was followed by Eoin Morgan making his runs. At 17.3 overs, the team stood at 152/4. At this point everyone expected England to win the match. However, with only 26 required from 15 deliveries, England went on to lose five more wickets within the next 24 runs.
This has been one of the most nerve-wracking matches of the T20I series and it is expected that others will follow too. The 2nd match of the 3-match series is scheduled for 16th February 2020 (Sunday).
