Nicholas Pooran Biography
Trinidadian player Nicholas Pooran plays for the West Indies cricket team. In addition to that, he has had stints in several domestic teams like Barbados Tridents, Islamabad United, Khulna Titans, Multan Sultans, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Trinidad & Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel, Trinidad & Tobago Under-19s, West Indies B and the West Indies Under-19 team.
He has also had a tryst with the Indian Premier League, playing for the Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. His regular position within the team is wicketkeeper/batsman.
Nicholas Pooran’s IPL career began in 2017 when he was bought by the Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakhs. However, he did not get a single game in for the IPL franchise.
In 2018, he went unsold and was unable to showcase his talent. Nicholas Pooran kicked off his IPL 2019 career with Kings XI Punjab. The side bought him for a sum of Rs 4.2 crores So far, he has only played one match for Punjab, where he scored 12 runs.
