Taylor Fritz Encounters Heart Beat Complications During Loss at National Bank Open 2021 R1

American tennis player Taylor Fritz has been a popular figure in the men’s Tour. However, there was an unfortunate update with the player as he lost in the early stages of the ATP event in Montreal. He lost to Australian tennis player James Duckworth in straight sets. 

Sadly, Taylor Fritz suffered from a heart complication. He did go on to social media and reveal that things are okay now. The American revealed that his heart was behaving unusually. Nonetheless, Fritz ended up playing the entire match.

The American player spoke more about this and stated, Hey guys…I’m okay. Probably one of the weirdest things I’ve ever experienced… heart was going absolutely crazy for no reason, I only continued cause it was so odd I thought it maybe would go away and I really hate quitting even if it was probably the smart thing to do.”

Taylor Fritz was involved in a thriller against Novak Djokovic

Reflecting on his season, Fritz began his journey in Melbourne. and lost in the third round to Novak Djokovic. It was an intense battle as the match had to be decided in five close sets. After that, he reached the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami.

Fritz had an average clay season. H played in events like Monte Carlo, Madrid, and Rome, however, the results have not been far from what the youngster expected. At the French Open, the journey of the American player lasted only up to the second round.

At the Wimbledon Championships, he lost in the third round. However, all the matches he competed in went the distance. We hope the youngster recovers and can get back to full fitness. It’ll be interesting to see if the American player competes at the US Open later this month.
