Alexander Zverev, the World Number seven, took on South Africa’s Kevin Anderson in the first round of the US Open 2020. The next-gen sensation played a tight match against the Johannesburg’s skyscraper and pulled off a 7-6, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 victory.

Right after his win, Sascha confirmed that the defending finalist at US Open, Daniil Medvedev, is one of the players who’s been put in isolation. In addition, he revealed that Daniil had been in contact with Benoit Paire, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

However, these claims are nothing but false rumors, and the Russian ace was not in contact with Paire. The fifth seed at the US Open, Zverev, has made some false claims regarding Medvedev’s potential isolation and his exposure to the virus.
