The breakout star at French Open 2020, Sebastian Korda made it to the fourth round in Paris as a qualifier. 20-year-old Korda defeated his countrymen and 21st seed John Isner in the second round of Roland Garros.

His successful run at the Paris Major was concluded by 20-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal. Presently, as the tennis world prepares for the next season, Korda is also busy training for the 2021 year.

In the process of doing so, Sebastian has reportedly hired eight-time Grand Slam Champion and his compatriot Andre Agassi in his team. In one of his Instagram stories, Korda posted a clipping regarding his training session with legendary tennis player Agassi.

Previously, Agassi coached 17-time Major champion, Novak Djokovic, in 2017. But soon after their league commenced, Novak underwent elbow surgery and later due to certain misunderstandings, the duo parted ways in May 2018. Thereafter, the Serb reunited with his former team.

Currently, Agassi is coaching former World Number three Grigor Dimitrov. He’s not often seen in Dimitrov’s box, but the Bulgarian admitted receiving telephonic lessons from Career Slam champion Agassi.

Hopefully, his recent union with the young American Korda might bring flourishing changes in his game and his career will have an upward slope.

Sebastian Korda is a big Rafael Nadal fan

The young American was immensely delighted to set up a pre-quarterfinal against his idol Nadal in his backyard of Roland Garros.

After losing the Paris Major match against Rafa, Korda requested Nadal to gift him the t-shirt that he was wearing on their match day.
