As the lockdowns in the numerous countries begin to ease down, tennis is also gradually returning to action. As World Number one Novak Djokovic is set to restart tennis in Belgrade by playing at the Adria Tour, his nemesis, Andy Murray, is most likely to make comeback in July. The British tennis tour has come up with a plan to resume tennis in their nation.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) will be hosting four events over three weeks. Each event will consist of 32 players with 16 men and 16 women divided into eight teams.

A few weeks ago, Murray revealed the possibility of him playing the French Open this year. Should the tournament get underway in September, the former finalist will opt to play.

Former World Number one Murray has not played a single match in 2020. Last year, he made a remarkable comeback after recovering from his hip surgery. While playing on the professional circuit was an achievement in itself, he even won a title. The Brit defeated Stan Wawrinka in the finals of Antwerp and lifted up a long-awaited ATP title.
