Nick Kyrgios is the kid on the block with whom it’s pretty fun to hang out with. The talented individual from Australia is best known for his aggression. However, beneath the surface exists a person who is fun to be with.

Kyrgios uploaded a short video of him taking a point from Alex de Minaur. Both of them were practicing and Kyrgios had to run a fair distance to play for the point. The astounding gameplay turned into a light banter between Kyrgios and Alex.

Kyrgios highlighted the fact that he misses crucial points like this. Also, he praised Alex’s effort and indicated these to be the stepping stones towards excelling.

Alex was not far behind. Facing Kyrgios’s banter he returned the humor with his wit. He highlighted how he controlled the game and forced Kyrgios to make the run and grab the point.

Good to see me dictating the point there and making you run”, Alex replied.

Alex returned Kyrgios’s comments in style. The brotherly affection was oozing out of Kyrgios as he stated how much he misses Alex.

The lesser-known side of Nick Kyrgios

The friendship between these two players are well known to everyone. The players from down under share a healthy bond between themselves and it has been proven time and again. Kyrgios rarely gets positive media coverage. Most of his coverages are the controversies. However, Alex came in support of his friend Kyrgios and stated that he is entirely different from what the world thinks him to be.

The actions of Kyrgios on court might be instigating and at times displays unsportsmanlike behavior. However, he is a man with a golden heart. He stepped out to deliver food to the hungry who were suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kyrgios played his last tournament in February in Acapulco. He was on the mission to defend his title, however, he retired from his first-round match following a wrist injury. Although he was drafted to play in the US Open 2020, he withdrew following health issues associated with the pandemic.
