Right after his four-set quarterfinal match, World Number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic, gave an update regarding his fitness. The Serbian legend complained of pain in his neck and arms during the match. After dropping the first set, Novak called the trainer on the court to treat his left bicep.
However, after the match, he revealed that the ‘pain faded away’ and will be treated before his semifinal match against Stefanos Tsitsipas at French Open 2020. The 17-time Grand Slam champion was skeptical regarding his presence on Court Philippe-Chatrier for the quarterfinal battle.
“My physio Miljan and the ATP doctor have been working on my neck for two hours. I have to admit, it was touch and go for a while, I was not sure whether I would be able to play,” he stated on Wednesday.

“I had some neck issues and some shoulders issues, I don’t want to reveal too much as I am still in the tournament. Pain faded away as the match went on and I warmed up,” he added.
Fortunately, on Thursday, Djokovic practiced on the courts of Roland-Garros and everything went well. He has recovered from all sorts of injuries. Hopefully, in his Friday’s match, nothing bounces on him and the Serbian ace manifests his best form.
