World Number 21 Nick Kyrgios had flourishing Australian Summer this year. He reached the pre-quarterfinals of the Melbourne major and lost to the 19-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal.
However, continuing his 2020 season seems challenging for Kyrgios. The top-seed pulled out of the ATP Tour’s Delray Beach Open 2020 hours before his round one match against Tommy Paul.
Kyrgios is dealing with an injured wrist. “I’m dealing with a little bit of a left wrist injury; been dealing with it for the last week or so,” Kyrgios said. “Some sort of tendon thing. Apart from that feeling pretty good.”
