The Japanese tennis phenom Naomi Osaka revolutionized the women’s tennis in the eastern end of the world. Her 14 consecutive Grand Slam match wins in 2018-19 awestruck the tennis audience in the Asian continent.

But Osaka’s recent one-sided loss on the clay-court of Murcia, Spain is something to worry upon. The two-time major champion Osaka committed 50 unforced errors against the World Number 78 Sara Sorribes Tormo from Spain. As a consequence, she dropped her match 6-0, 6-3 in the Fed Cup 2020 rubber.

“Honestly, it wasn’t even a match. For me, I’m kind of dealing with some stuff and I couldn’t mentally get into the match. It’s sort of… my fault,” Naomi Osaka opened up post her substandard performance. The Japanese ace Osaka was left in tears after her defeat. 

Osaka is not really comfortable playing on clay or grass. However, her powerful hitting from the baseline on the hardcourts is simply prodigious.
