Every year, fans get to see their favorite tennis players compete at various events. However, most of them are unaware of the difficulties that they face. To make fans aware, Simona Halep and Petra Kvitova talked about some of these challenges.
“Traveling. I think it’s the most difficult thing for us,” said Halep. After this, Kvitova went in-depth on why traveling is very difficult for them.
“They just see us playing, and think it’s just about that. When we are traveling, we have so much time off the court, but we don’t really have the time to see anything else, because we are there to put everything we can into each match,” she said.

Traveling throughout the year is definitely difficult; hence, Halep and Kvitova will be glad that they didn’t have to travel much in 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many events on the WTA Tour were canceled, and hence, they got a pretty long break.
However, there were a lot of events that were conducted and Halep and Kvitova will not be happy about their performance at them. Neither of them was able to win Slams, which is disappointing as they are both 2-time Major champions. Also, Petra went title-less this year, something she is definitely not happy about.
