Who is Donna Vekic?

Donna Vekic, like Wawrinka, is a professional tennis player. We know that they were together from the time when Stan split up with Vuilloud till very recently in 2019.

Donna was born in Croatia on June 28, 1999. She made her professional debut in 2012.

Since then, she has two WTA singles titles to her name – 2014 Malaysian Open and 2017 Nottingham Open. She also has five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Women’s Circuit.

She has amassed around $4,234,052 with her prize money. Her best performance in a Grand Slam singles event came in 2019 when she reached the quarter-finals of the US Open.

Very early into her relationship with Wawrinka, she was negatively brought into context by Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios. After a Rogers Cup match against Wawrinka, an on-court microphone had picked Kyrgios telling the Swiss: “Kokkinakis b***d your girlfriend. Sorry to tell you that mate.”

Wawrinka, naturally, was far from amused with the words of Nick Kyrgios.

In June 2019, reports came through that Stan Wawrinka and Donna Vekic split up.

Stan is not yet known to be dating anyone.
