Backing Anthony Joshua, Eddie said, “Anthony had a great year last year in many ways. He fought in Madison Square Garden in New York and then in Saudi Arabia, but now he’s back at Spurs in a great stadium. I’m feeling nervous for him as it’s a big homecoming which comes with pressure.” Anthony is back home for a fight after a long break. He’s been around the world and now its time to perform in front of his people.
This kind of pressure can get to you say, Eddie Hearn. He continued to say, “Saudi was low key where he was removed from that pressure and it worked quite well for him. Now people will say ‘let’s see the old AJ and the big knockouts.’ But I think we’ll see a great fight against Pulev.” Anthony vs Kubrat is a great fight with huge potential for the winner.

Huge things for Anthony Joshua after Spurs
Hearn is confident that the winner of this bout will most likely sign a fight against the winner of the Trilogy bout between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. And that match, whoever it matches up will be a spectacle of an event.
The Trilogy bout has been pushed back to October due to the COVID-19 scare. But it will still be as big a fight as any. The first match ended in a draw. The second was a landslide victory for Fury. What will happen this time?

Irrespective, Anthony Joshua needs to keep focused on Pulev. He slacked off against Andy the first time and we saw how that turned out for him. Eddie said, “We can’t afford to take our eyes off the ball from AJ’s side with Pulev. Bob Arum is convinced Pulev will knock AJ out. People look at the Andy Ruiz fight and they think there’s a weak link there in AJ. I think he’s going to show you something very different this year. He’s ready to put on a real performance at Spurs.”
Big things in store for both the contenders. Who will come out victorious at Spurs?
