Tickets Details Announced for The ICC T20 World Cup 2020

As the ICC World Cup 2019 has done and dusted, fans have started gearing up for the ICC T20 World Cup which will take place next year. The tickets for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 will be available for grabs from October 8. The date is chosen because the mega event will begin on that day next year. The big tournament will be played in Australia. Not only the Men’s T20 World cup but Women’s T20 World cup will also be played in Australia in February. The tickets for Women’s T20 World Cup are now on sale.

“Children’s category tickets are available for every match including the final. Tickets are $5 for children and from $20 for adults across the majority of men’s First Round and Super 12 matches, consistent with accessible pricing for women’s event tickets, which went on sale earlier this year, meaning that a family of four can attend matches at both the women’s and men’s events from just $50,” ICC said in a media release on Wednesday, July 24.

“For the semi-final in Adelaide, children’s tickets start from $10 and adults tickets start from $40, while for the second semi-final in Sydney tickets start from $90 for adults and from $20 for children. The final, T20 cricket’s showpiece fixture, have children’s tickets starting from $20, while entry for adults starts at $125,” the media release further added.

Nick Hockley, the CEO of ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Local Organising Committee said that ODI World Cup in the UK would become a big turnout in 2020.

“Passionate fans from around the world were a highlight of the recently concluded World Cup and it is such an exciting prospect that both the women’s and men’s T20 World Cups are coming to Australia next year,” added Hockley.

“We have made sure that tickets to all matches are accessibly priced so that families, friends and communities can come together to support their teams and celebrate these major world events,” he further added.

“Fans can buy any combination of tickets and with hospitality and travel packages also launched fans across the world have the options and flexibility to build their own T20 World Cup experience,” he concluded.
