“When you stop to think about it, yes it’s all happened so quickly, From one day to the next you’re playing with Barça, with the national team and now at the Olympic Games.
“I try to keep calm but it’s hard with everything that’s happening to me, it’s just absolutely crazy what I’m living right now,” said Pedri recently.
“I think we have a really good team, great players, and most importantly good people, I think we have the quality to do big things here and I hope we can win it,” the youngster further added.
Spain last participated in Olympics Football in 2012. They had a disastrous campaign that term. The team got eliminated in the group stages for the first time without even scoring a single goal.
Can Pedri Gonzalez be pivotal yet again for the Spanish National Team?
Spain will have six stars in the team who also graced the UEFA Euro 2020. Apart from the Barcelona wonderkid, Pedri, Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper, Unai Simon is also in the team.
