K – Kane Williamson
The young New Zealander has had a fantastic year. Williamson is currently 3rd on the list of the highest ever strike-rated century by a New Zealander in a One-Day International. In December 2015, during the second Test against Sri Lanka, Williamson broke the record for the most Test runs scored in a calendar year by a New Zealander, with 1172 runs.
The highlight of the year for the batsman would be when he was appointed as captain of the National Cricket Team following Brendon McCullum’s retirement announcement.
L – Lee Chong Wei
