Nate Diaz was supposed to fight Jorge Masvidal in the most anticipated fight of the year in Madison Square Garden next week. However, Diaz claimed that he failed a drug test and hence won’t be fighting in UFC 244.

USADA found elevated levels of testosterone from the test results of Nate Diaz which may have been the result of some tainted supplements. Although UFC suggested Diaz to keep quiet about the whole situation, Diaz denies doing the same.

Nate Diaz said:

I am not gonna play their game and try and hide it or keep quiet, as they suggested. I don’t give a fuck about some money over my dignity and my legacy. I am not playing along with this bullshit. I am not staying quiet and figuring it out after the fight. That’s cheating.

A few minutes after Diaz releases the statement, Jorge Masvidal took it to twitter to support Nate Diaz. Masvidal also said that he would still fight Diaz in UFC 244 regardless of the failed drug tests.
