Israel Adesanya Trolls Paulo Costa’s Cardio Ahead of UFC 253

UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya took to Twitter and went after his opponent Paulo Costa in his patented trolling style. The aforementioned middleweights will face off against each other in the main event for UFC 253. Additionally, the event will mark the beginning of a five-week-long visit to Yas Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. The promotion will keep putting on fights at the Flash Forum right until October 24, 2020, for UFC 254.

Chiefly, the two elite middleweights have been jawing back and forth on social media. There’s no love lost between the main event combatants, and they can’t wait to settle their score.

The City Kickboxing standout fighter seems to be attempting to get inside his opponent’s head. In a slew of social media posts, ‘Izzy’ constantly peppered Costa with verbal jabs. Chiefly, Israel Adesanya posted a clip that saw ‘The Eraser’ getting increasingly tired as one of his early career fights played out.

However, Paulo Costa’s cardio and overall endurance have improved in recent years. Moreover, his high-pressure fight against Yoel Romero that saw him successfully make the final bell with relative ease.
